Payments, generation costs, holder discounts, and data retention.

How does x402 top-up work?

Choose an amount and review the payment request. Your wallet authorizes that exact USDG payment; a payment service submits it to the network. Mimochi adds service credits only after independently verifying the transfer and finality. A token approval may be needed first and can require ETH gas. Signing in is separate from authorizing payment.

How do I start creating?

Connect a compatible wallet and sign in. Verified free models need no deposit; add USDG service credits to use paid models when top-ups are available. Pick a model and enter your request. Published token rates or calculated cost details appear in the workspace. Select Send or Generate to start.

What is a service credit?

It is prepaid credit inside Mimochi. One USDG received creates one service credit. Your wallet USDG, available service credits, and credits reserved for active jobs are separate balances.

How are model prices calculated?

Normal service pricing follows verified generation cost without a markup, using the USD-to-USDG accounting ratio of 1:1. Token-priced models show input and output rates per 1M tokens and charge for verified actual usage after generation. Your available balance is held while the request runs, and unused credits are released afterward. Fixed-price images and specification-priced videos show a calculated cost, which is reserved for that request.

How do holder discounts work?

Hold at least 0.05% of the fixed reference token supply to qualify. Holding 0.05% gives a 5% discount; 0.075% gives 7.5%; 0.10% gives 10%; and 0.50% or more reaches the maximum of 50%. Model-specific discount caps apply. No staking or lockup is required.

Do I need Mimochi tokens to use the workspace?

No. You can use the service at normal prices without holding tokens. The token programme has not launched. Holder benefits remain inactive until its contract and reference supply are configured.

Why can holder discounts differ between models?

Your share of the reference supply determines your base discount. Each model can have its own maximum discount, so the effective rate may differ. The workspace shows the applicable discount before you start. An accepted request keeps its agreed rates and discount.

What if a generation fails or I press Stop?

A confirmed failure without usable output has a zero service charge. Stopping a chat may still incur verified usage for partial output. Requests with a displayed maximum remain within that cap. Credits remain reserved while unconfirmed generation costs are reconciled.

Can I get my USDG back?

USDG top-ups are not refundable and service credits do not have an automatic withdrawal feature. Releasing an unused reservation or returning service credits for a failed generation is separate from an on-chain USDG refund.

Can I close the page while a video is generating?

Yes. Accepted jobs run on the server and remain connected to your account. Check Wallet & usage for status and My library for saved media. A failed status check does not automatically purchase a new generation.

Are my creations public?

Your conversations and media are private to your signed-in account. Requests are processed by the chosen AI provider. Provider policies can differ; Mimochi does not promise identical retention policies or zero data retention across all models.

How long are my files kept?

Conversations, uploads, and generated media are kept for 30 days. Download or export anything you want to preserve. Financial records and unresolved billing investigations are handled separately.
